Post-Trip Report: As the gray mist rose silently from the Hiwassee River, five hikers set forth to clean up the three mile “Adopt a Trail” section of the John Muir Trail. One very small bag of trash was collected and some light maintenance work was done. It was a beautiful day, in spite of no wildflowers were blooming, all snakes were hibernating and we found all the fishermen in the parking lot. Hike Leaders: Deborah Flower and Clayton Pannell. Hikers: Kenneth & Jolynn Johnson, Randy Morris, Clayton Pannell and the dog, Abby Flower.
