Post-Trip Report: It was a cold, crisp morning when nine hikers and a dog set forth to clean up the three mile “Adopt a Trail” section of the John Muir Trail along the Hiwassee River.   One bag of trash was collected and some light maintenance work was done along the trail.  Helping us were Taylor Morris who was acquiring “service hours for Walker Valley’s Circle of Champions Honors Program” and two Boy Scouts, Joseph and Jonathan Munoz , who were acquiring “service hours for merit badges”.  The beautiful weather brought out other hikers and their dogs, two herons and one green snake. Hike Leader: Deborah Flower. Hikers: David Flower with our dog, Abby, Randy & Taylor Morris, Clayton Pannell, Karen Young, Jennifer Schroll, and Joseph & Jonathan Munoz.
