Continue one more mile and park at the picnic area on the right. For those driving directly to the trailhead, please arrive by 2:15. November 2nd is the first day of standard time and we should be off the trail well before dark.
Post Trip Report: Eight members and guests had a great day for this Sunday afternoon hike. The weather was wonderful and the changing leaf color against the blue sky background was picture perfect. We completed the hike in two hours taking our time to admire the leaves and to take in the views. This was a first trip on this short trail for most of the group. One indolent black snake was observed by some on the shady side of the hill.
