Post Trip Report: We had a great group of hikers on our Brush Creek hike. We met at the Ocoee Whitewater Center and proceeded to the trailhead at Boyd Gap Overlook. Steve and Belinda Mantooth met us on the trail. Steve was enjoying the trail on his bike. The weather was nice and we enjoyed views of Power House #3 Lake and Brush Creek. We hiked 6.7 miles and had lunch on the trail. Hike leader, Gary Smith is preparing to have surgery, so I’m covering for him on this write-up. Keep Gary in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Participants were: Jane Bohannon, Gary Smith, Mae Miles, Richard Harris and his dog Jake, Steve and Belinda Mantooth, and guests were Angie Chastain and Steve Kidd.
